Today, the High Commissioner-Designate of Rwanda to Tanzania, Ambassador General Patrick Nyamvumba, presented copies of his letters of credence to Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania.
The two exchanged on the excellent bilateral relations between Rwanda and Tanzania, and other political issues in the East African Community (EAC) and beyond.
The relations between Tanzania and Rwanda are traditionally friendly, and have a long history and common history. Both Rwanda and Tanzania have diplomatic missions in their respective countries. (End)
