Major General Alex Kagame
President Paul Kagame, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), has made some fresh changes in the commandant roles with the army, appointing two senior officers to new roles.
According to a statement released by RDF this Monday, Major General Alex Kagame becomes Reserve Force Chief of Staff.
Major General Andrew Kagame becomes Commander 1 Division.
The appointments take immediate effect. (End)
