Prime Minister presided over the 10th graduation ceremony of the University of Rwanda

Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente presided over the 10th Graduation Ceremony of the University of Rwanda in which a total of 8,068 graduates were awarded degrees in their respective fields of study. This ceremony took place at UR Huye Campus Stadium.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister congratulated all the graduates, and encouraged  them to uphold values of patriotism and integrity. 

He also urged them to think big, seek innovative development solutions and undertake impactful projects for their own benefit and for the country.

The Prime Minister also thanked the University of Rwanda’s leadership for continued efforts  in ensuring the university’s transformation by improving education quality and research.

The Premier expressed his special appreciation to all the academic staff for their dedication and tireless commitment  to the University’s growth and success.

He further commended the progress so far made in the implementation of the recent reforms of the University of Rwanda and revealed that once fully implemented, they will greatly benefit both the Government and the University of Rwanda community. (End)
