Chinese Ambassador Wang Xuekun met with Minister of Education of Rwanda

On November 21, AmbassadorWang Xuekun paid a courtesy call on Joseph Nsengimana, Minister of Education of Rwandan, to exchange views on China-Rwanda education cooperation.

Ambassador Wang said, the education cooperation between China and Rwanda have achieved fruitful outcomes. During the Beijing Summit of FOCAC this year, President Xi Jinping announced Ten Partnership Action. The two Heads of State reached consensus on deepening educational cooperation. China is willing to take this opportunity to strengthen educational cooperation with Rwanda, to contribute to the development of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Rwanda.

Joseph Nsengimana said, China has been supporting the cause of education in Rwanda for many years through government scholarships, vocational training projects, etc. Rwanda appreciates China’s support, and is willing to continue to deepen the educational cooperation with China. (Fin)
