President Kagame received students from Wharton School of Pennsylvania

This afternoon at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame received a delegation of MBA students from Wharton School of Pennsylvania in the USA, led by Professor Katherine Klein and Eric Kacou.

The delegation is in Kigali for the 11th Wharton Global Modular Course on Rwanda entitled, “Conflict, Leadership, and Change: Lessons from Rwanda”, which explores lessons on the effective leadership, governance and national development policies that have transformed Rwanda in the aftermath of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Established as the first collegiate business school in 1881, Wharton played a crucial role in transforming the study of business from a trade to a rigorous and respected profession. (End)
