Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe received the copies of Letters of Credence from Mr. Dag Sjöögren, Ambassador-Designate of Sweden to Rwanda.
Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe congratulated Mr. Sjöögren on his new role, wished him a successful tenure, and commended the continued growing bilateral relations between the two countries.
Rwanda and Sweden have a number of areas of cooperation, including Development cooperation, Research cooperation, Climate change, Trade and investment.
Rwanda and Sweden also have embassies in each other’s countries: Rwanda Embassy in Stockholm opened in 2007, Swedish Embassy in Kigali: Opened in 2010 (End)
