On the sidelines of the ongoing International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) Annual Meetings in Washington D.C., Rwanda’s Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Yusuf Murangwa held bilateral discussions with the President of OPEC Fund Abdulhamid Alkhalifa.
Minister Yusuf Murangwa and Abdulhamid Alkhalifa exchanged on existing partnerships and future cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
The Government of Rwanda and OPEC Fund have over the years established development partnerships in various sectors including energy, transport, as well as water and sanitation.
The OPEC Fund has supported development in Rwanda since 1976. (End)
