Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe arrived in Juba ahead of the C5 Ministerial Visit
Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe is in Juba, South Sudan, as part of a Ministerial visit from the AU High-Level Ad Hoc Committee for South Sudan (C5), which is composed of South Africa (Chair), Algeria, Chad, Nigeria and Rwanda.
On the sidelines of the visit, he met with Ramadan Goc, Minister of Foreign Affairs South Sudan Government. They discussed further strengthening bilateral ties between Rwanda and South Sudan.
Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe also met with Ambassador Selma Bakhta Mansouri, Algerian Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs. Their discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Rwanda and Algeria.
The African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government established the C5 in 2015, in order to express political support to the South Sudan peace process. (End)
