Today, Rwanda and Malawi signed a Bilateral Air Services Agreement to enhance air transport between the two countries.
Jacob Hara, Malawi’s Minister of Transport and Public Works, and Rwanda’s Minister of Infrastructure, Dr. Jimmy Gasore, represented their respective countries in the signing.
The signing shows the mutual trust and commitment to deepen the strategic partnership.
Common rules will facilitate cooperation of Rwanda and Malawi companies and decrease the administrative burden, creating better opportunities for investment and strengthening economic prosperity and growth.
The signing of Bilateral Air Services with Malawi presents Rwanda with a larger market to tap into with tourism offerings, and will enhance economic opportunities for the country across the globe. (End)
