US Ambassador Eric Kneedler visits the Marburg Command Post

US Ambassador Eric Kneedler visited the Marburg Command Post to observe Rwanda’s coordinated response to the ongoing Marburg outbreak. He met with experts from various response pillars to learn about their strategies for prevention, containment and public education.

Impressed by Rwanda’s swift response, Ambassador Kneedler called the experience “inspiring” and underscored the critical need for coordinated action to address public health emergencies.

This visit strengthens the U.S.-Rwanda partnership in addressing health crises and underscores the importance of international cooperation.
